Happy Spring!

There were moments over the last few months that felt like spring would never come! Stormy weather, hail, snow flurries, snow and so much rain. Yet here we are. Yesterday evening, into today depending on where you are in the world, marked the first day of spring. Why is it one day earlier this year? It has to do with 2024 being a leap year. Here is all the why if you are interested (https://www.cbsnews.com/news/first-day-of-spring-earlier-why-earlier-vernal-equinox-leap-year/#textTuesday2C20March201920at2011on20March2020th20or2021st)

Regardless of the exact moment spring arrived. It’s here! This last week was full of sunshine and exactly what I needed! I dug around in the garden, sat on the deck in the sunshine and spent some time making flowers. I recently joined Amanda Evanston’s club Insiders’ Studio. https://www.amandaevanstonlearning.com I found her painting tutorials about a year ago but hadn’t joined her club until last month. Boy am I having fun! I’ve been trying out all the tutorials! My favorite still remains florals.  So, to celebrate the first day of spring here are some of my happy flowers.

If you see one that tickles your fancy and you’d like to hang it on your wall let me know. I’d be so delighted to sell a little bit of flower joy! You can find them (along with a number of other items) in my Etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/MEinspiredcrafts
