I absolutely love the green science kits. They are reasonably priced, have great directions and learning booklets that comes with them and have everything you need in the kit to complete some awesome science projects. Our son is totally into science and sometimes it’s hard to find and come up with age appropriate activities for him.

So with our little heat wave we are having it was time to crack open the solar oven and melt some cheese and chocolate. We even used it to cook an egg. It was a great reminder of the power of the sun! Next up is the solar water heater that also came in the same kit. (first we had to walk over to Safeway and get a liter bottle of seltzer water and drink it up so we could do the experiment one of the few things the kit didn’t come with!)
