I am the first one to groan when I walk into the stores and see Christmas things out already. In fact I saw a funny cartoon I think it was on Facebook the other day of mummies, and zombies in a manger scene holding baby Jesus. However, I will say there is one item I always buy early. Gingerbread Houses. I got mine last week in fact. At our house we go trick or treating to collect good decorating material for a gingerbread house. This works so well with our son. There are no tummy aches from eating too much, no hiding of his candy, no trading it to the Halloween witch for a toy etc etc. We crack it open and spend November 1st decorating until our house is dripping with candy.
How do you deal with all the unwanted candy?
