Ali Edwards is one of my favorite scrapbookers. Her projects always speak to me. I think she does an amazing job telling her family’s story. Last year I joined her and completed a week in the life. I think it is a great way to document the ordinary. I know I am guilty especially with our video camera to only use it for special occasions; holidays, birthday’s, vacation and other special events. I was much better about using the video camera my son’s first two years and not at year five….. I guess one can not be good at everything. I will say that I do a great job with still pictures, and over the last two years with my Iphone I am able to capture move still and video than ever before because I simply have it with me.

I know it was quite a while back that Ali Edwards did her 2012 week in the life and at the time I considered doing it then too but just couldn’t make it happen. I don’t even remember what was getting in the way. Anyways it’s been on my mind to complete now for a few weeks and this morning I decided no time like the present! So today, Monday August 27th is the first day in my week in the life.
